So blessed to still have my dad with me. We drove to the top of Mount Holyoke for some great views since he no longer hikes.

Happy belated Father's Day to all our fathers here.
3 of DH's 4 children and I took part in a fishing derby (zero fish caught) and then had a Scottish mince dinner on our lawn.

I celebrate my father and my step-father for the love they gave me despite the "incompleteness" of their fathering. All-in-all, they both gave me wonderful gifts.

My dad has been gone since 1995...but Sunday (Father's Day) I spent the afternoon at a local baseball game, then watched the end of the Mariners (walk-off) game. I think of him every single time I watch baseball because he loved it and taught me so much about it. So baseball is my way of honoring my dad's memory.

I also think to myself how much he would hate the shift. :)
