The only cat video that I will ever watch

I'm not a cat person. I don't hate cats, but I've never looked at a cat video and gone "Oh that's sooooooo CUTE!!"

This video got my attention for sure. It's an amazing video of trained cats doing the kind of tricks dogs usually do on stage. Talk about herding cats, have you ever tried training them to do dog tricks???

The trained cats are fine, but there’s nothing better than seeing a well fed feline fit itself into a very small box. They are so self satisfied when accomplished, and so compelled to do it.


I equate that with videos of dogs carrying big sticks. They’re so damned pleased with themselves when they’re carrying a giant stick in their mouth.

So are you a Maru fan, IL? He's my fav box kitty. We also had a cat that loved to play fetch with a stuffed green dolphin. He loved that thing and drug it everywhere. When it was in the laundry he would mope around until it came back all clean and less smelly... and he was happy again.

Maru is one of a kind, elegant and saucy.

Grandpa Mason was a favorite of mine--the very opposite of Maru, but a lovable curmudgeon, nonetheless.

And Simon's cat wins Best in Show in the cartoon category.
