It's not a complete defunding of the police, but a lot of them will be losing their jobs because they refuse to get vaccinated.

The Washington State Patrol was at 93% vaccinated as of 4 days ago. My county’s Sheriff’s Department was 100% many months ago.

If they start mandating boosters I will look for a job at a company with fewer than 100 employees. I have had enough of hypocritical government officials, who don't wear the masks they mandate for others, breathing down my neck. There is a labor shortage now and people have choices.
