As we come to the end of the Durham investigation, I keep wondering when Adam Schiff will produce that “smoking gun” he was always talking about. The media doesn’t seem to be as breathlessly interested in this one as the Mueller probe; perhaps because it makes them look like such gullible dopes.

Everyone involved in promoting that foolishness is maintaining a low profile on the subject now that facts are coming to light. Even though Trump has always been an ass it's enlightening to see that he's not the only one as an entire political party and the media tried to criminalize it using any pretense possible.

I think Adam Schiff is a prime example of why being a politician shouldn't be a full time job. Return us to a time when citizen legislators serve their country for a short time and then return to private life after their stint of civic duty.

My friend whose family is generations long in Virginia quotes her father often who said “ when they put air conditioning in congressional quarters that was the beginning of the end. Prior to that it was too damn hot and humid for those men in suits to convene to run the country so they looked for any excuse to end their sessions.”

I've always thought it should be like jury duty.

I've always thought it should be like jury duty.

Who was it who said he wouldn’t want his fate decided by people who weren’t smart enough to get out of jury duty?

I think the ancient Athenians did it that way for awhile.

Smart dishonest, yea many people conflate them. Though I have to say I have mostly never gotten jury did, because most of the time I don't have an employer that pays for any days for jury duty, and then you go in the lowest priority pile, as they feel sorry for you losing a paycheck.
