Hello, I live in the Southwest, currently working for a financial services firm and still working 100% from home. I spend my time always looking for ways to simplify my life and am currently doing a lot of decluttering and cleaning out my closet by selling on poshmark and mercari, ebay, etc. I am very outdoorsy and my partner and I like to hike, backpack, camp, offroad, and in general we prefer to just be 'doing'. Actually, he does way more backpacking than I do. I'm getting too old for his some of his adventures!
I don't watch much television nor allow the news to permeate my daily existence.

I am also a mom to a 23 year old college student who still lives at home. I have a cat. Always been a dog person, but this kitty needed a home so I adopted her from a friend and she's been a joy to have in the house.

I used to have to dress very professionally for my job when I was in front of clients, pre-pandemic, of course. Now, I shop for fun and boredom. Hence the reason I am trying to simplify my life. When we go back to office next month, I'll only be going back once a week. I clearly won't need my massive wardrobe and I'm not even sure what fits or is in trends anymore anyway. Been living in yoga clothes for the past 2 years, it seems.

I would like to point out the forum's "Search" bar in the upper right corner (beneath Settings). It is possible to look up all that has been said on these forums about anything from aardvarks to zygotes, by typing your topic in the Search bar, and clicking on the magnifying glass icon at the far right.

For example, I typed "decluttering", and the search returned 20 pages of posts from the past which made mention of decluttering.


Sometimes I like to see what has been said... to see the multiple perspectives...
