The MX government has never given the impression it’s anything besides corrupt and inept. This takes the cake. I have multiple friends who live in the area of this project and they confirm it’s accurate.

This train project will not only collapse the caves, but endanger the local aquifer which is the only source of ground water. That the cave system(s).

Pet projects of questionable leaders don't receive the same degree of oversight and accountability no matter which country. Thanks for drawing this to my attention.

I hate reading stories like this. I signed the petition but didn't contribute the optional donation they ask for. I don't know how I can influence Mexico with my money, but I sure hope someone does.

Not sure what are you saying there, but they are probably being hit up to hire xyz company to bring their water pipes in.

Sorry meant to say the aquifer and the cave systems are the same.

Just like the north FL cave country is part of the local aquifer.
