Figured I'd start a new one.

For today, I helped a friend condense/declutter two storage units down to one. Not sure what else I'll get off my list today.

That's a nice accomplishment, Happy.

These were crossed off yesterday - made grocery list for the week and went through store flyer, started seeds for the garden (yay!), made brownies for dh's birthday today, and prepped all remaining work meals for the week.

Have not had many successful to-do completions so far this week but started off well today. Dinner is in the crockpot, bills have been paid and laundry put away. Will be heading to the grocery store soon.

Last week I finished contacting my "group" of centers to update their info. I thought I was off this organization's board since I was "retired with assistance" from my job, but it turns out they haven't met since Covid. Hence the board has not changed. Thus I still have some responsibilities until they have another vote. Which I hope is SOON, lol. Anyway, that was a big-ish stressful thing off my plate. I only have one non-response, and I'll give it a week before re-contacting. Also making progress on updating inventory records for our antique sales. Have most of the yard cleared of sticks so DH can mow when he decides to. Most of the flowerbeds are cleaned up but haven't starting moving or planting anything as the weather is still nuts. So progress of a sort!

Today was a good day. Put together the little patio set we ordered yesterday and arrived today, cooked and picked a chicken for meals this week, made airplane cookies for tomorrow*, bought flowers for tomorrow*, put clothes away, pulled up bricks from in front of the front porch (they used to line a garden but eventually just ended up under ground - lol), and scheduled a visit to the temple tomorrow*.

*Tomorrow is both my one child's death day and one of my other children's Airplane Day. A day of extremes - heartbreak and joy.

Took Friday off and did the following: DH and I took the box of glass to a recycling container, went to two grocery stores. I spread 4 bags of mulch and weeded the rock area around our mail box and between the driveway with our duplex neighbor. Put together a metal table and glider for our deck. Picked up dog poop in the back yard. Got cleaned up and went out for supper. Saturday: laundry, vacuumed and cleaned two bathrooms. Took DH to a church event. Went to DS and DIL's new rental and helped them paint (I taped around woodwork). Made a cake and a salad for Easter dinner. Took the dog for a walk. Sunday: up for church, then home to fix the ham, rolls and appetizers, set the table for 8 of us for dinner. Afterwards, cleaned kitchen and worked on a puzzle with my SIL. Had to come back to work today to get some rest!

Wow, beckyliz! You got a lot done!

I have off today so am trying to do all the things I normally do on Sunday for prepping for the week. I have baked the weekly breakfast casserole, made homemade sourdough rolls (rising and waiting to bake at this point), went with neighbor and picked up dirt for all the garden spots for both of us (we share the gardening!), finally bought a mix of grout/putty to try to fix/repair a patio/porch bistro table, paid bills, balanced checkbook, made dinner for tonight. Now I think I will sit, relax and read a little bit.

Hope everyone is having a nice day!

Productive Sunday! Breakfast dish for the week made, put together a new rolling composter, cleared out the big garden bed in the back and the kids next door planted carrots and radishes, cleared out a smaller box and covered (will plant some lettuce when this next expected bit of cold weather passes), and did laundry and hung outside on the line (frugal!). I'm sure I'll get a few more things done, but I'm happy with these to-do completions. :)

Happystuff - I'm weary just reading your list of accomplishments yesterday!

Way to go, happystuff! I managed, with assistance, to wash two kitchen corner windows and clean out that corner of the counter, washing the floor in that corner between cabinets and dishwasher (usually filled by a rolling cart). Washed/rehung one blind (only the west facing windows have blinds, the north-facing one does not). So, 2 down, 3 to go on the kitchen window project!

Good job, early morning. Windows definitely are not my thing, so you are definitely doing better than I would be. lol

Finished the last of the kitchen windows. All are washed, blinds washed and rehung, counter emptied/washed/re-cluttered. Rehomed a few things, and priced a few to move onward.

Db and SIL just got the occupancy ok for their new house, so the rest of my spring list will be on the back burner while we help them begin to move their furnishings/pottery/ pictures/memorabilia out of the hanger and other storage, and into the new house. It's going to be like a gigantic jigsaw puzzle -while the new house is roughly the same square footage as their old one, it is not configured the same at all.

My house in Kenosha had 30 windows and my condo has 2 and a slider. One extreme to the next:)).
