View Full Version : Summer Challenge
Through 9/21 I hope to:
1. Lose the weight I am rolling over from the summer challenge.
2. Draft a city charter change to make the Board of Health elective rather than appointive. To avoid gathering thousands of signatures I will need to find a City Councilor to sponsor my petition and ideally that person would also help me draft this. One has volunteered an interest and another has said maybe. Both are attorneys. But they are busy so I need to gently nudge them.
3. Fix (really, enlist DB who is willing to fix, only he has been sick) board on the side steps that is coming up. It is currently weighted down with a big rock.
4. File a gender discrimination complaint against the City for among other things the Health Director repeatedly talking to a member of the public about her butt after she asked him not to. My city is so bad!
5. Fully fund another year's contribution to my Roth IRA.
6. Continue with hiking at least once per month.
7. Scrape clear all the small scraggly growth in the yard between my nice ground cover.
8. Continue with efforts to hold the Board of Health accountable for their actions. Recently I filed an ethics complaint with the state that may require follow up. The Chair has high ($1 million) payments from the pharmaceutical industry whose EUA products he mandated for children. Very wrong.
9. Attend city council meetings as needed to fight tyranny. The Historical Commission is working on an ordinance to fine people $300 per day if they don't like their stone walls. That should make it to the council this quarter.
10. Continue my efforts to find medical/dental providers who do not require masks. Burned out on this for the moment but I will get there at some point.
Happy Summer everyone!
For the Summer project:
Finish the epic book cull
Pack books going to Husband's friend
Empty 4 boxes in the storage unit
Figure out what we're going to do with the shelf in storage unit
Knit Cardigan
Keep the guest room bed clear of junk
Have one non screen day every month
Probably a few things I'm forgetting and will add later
Prepared letters to another group of NH doctors. This time I selected the starting point of my radius as Grafton, a libertarian hotbed. I also eliminated all doctors that are part of a hospital medical group, as doctors offices that have been calling me back say the hospitals make them require masks.
If I strike out again I will have to give up or pick another state farther away to try.

rolled from spring:
1. divide and rehome some of my early spring native plants and hostas to new bed, and share w/SIL for her new flowerbeds. *this may have to wait until fall, depending on the heat
2. finish removal of fence, posts, debris from old kennel area
3. removed trash trees from field ingress/egress
New:
4. remove old entertainment center from an upstairs bedroom
5. remove at least two large (something I can't carry myself, lol) items from barn and property (no fair shifting from barn to shed!)
6. call at least TWO of the repair people we need and get two of our large tasks done and paid for
Did the weeding, #7 on my list.
Had my first no screen day, went from 10pm Friday to 10am Sunday, being at a volunteer thank you picnic that was originally scheduled for two years ago also helped. Started the cardigan and pruned my social media contacts on Sunday morning.
On to a great start
Also filed a city ethics complaint, after finally finding out who the city ethics officer is. He is a political appointee of the mayor and I don't think will do anything. I have more faith in the state.
Emailed the city council president and chair of the council appointments committee advising them that the chair of the committee trying to impose the $300 per day fines if they don't like your stone wall is not a city resident and asking can he be removed.
Contacted another councilor about sponsoring my petition.
Trying to lose the weight. I am eating a lot less but maybe retaining water due to the heat and humidity? I am down 4 pounds from my peak and my goal was 5. Can't seem to get over the final hill.
OK, I have my list. I'm not going to be too ambitious since I want to allow for some summer recreation time and also now knowing that Clay School is a bit of a time commitment. Some of these are unfinished items from the last go-round:
Finish decluttering Mom's second floor
Hang final shade at Mom's
Build rolling pantry
Clean dryer vent
List raincoat and denim jacket on eBay
Review Medicare info I've received (not eligible until next year)
Sort through bed linens
Schedule furnace cleanouts (our house and Mom's house)
Move gaillardias in front garden
Do some more organizing in the shed
Mending: sheet and 2 curtains
Prune halesias
Complete friend Bill's income taxes
Husband's last day in his office was Thursday, he's now teleworking until sometime next year. His building was sold and company's lease not renewed. He's at home until the company figures how to add 150 people to another building that company owns in a way that makes the Fire Marshall happy. This also means that 20+ years of stuff is on the guest room bed. Yay.
The monitor and office chair will go with us to the satellite office in the Midwest when we visit this fall.
Going to check with the usual suspects if they're taking books again, and if not start making more book lots for Buy Nothing. Think the 20+ year old college textbooks can be trashed.
Friend's students are requesting books at the top of the banned books lists, books we don't have since borrow from the library, or read them and did not finish on the grounds of being really dull. We're going to send books with similar themes and characters. The kids get to read new stuff and hopefully the writers will get free publicity and sales increases when the people with too much free time take offense.
Hana: Oh no, and after all your hard work to get that bed cleared off!
Rosa: He said he spent part of his lunch break going over stuff and rid of things when he went back to the office in April. He was also counting on the used bookstore near his office still being open, they decided to retire when their lease expired last December. I'm more mad at upper management at his company since they originally planned to rent a dumpster so employees could get rid of stuff then decided it would cost too much money.
Posted the textbooks on Buy Nothing since some people use them for craft projects. Did say they must be claimed before 3pm on the Sixth or they will go into the dumpster.
I lost the weight and plan to continue on to lose more.
Filed the gender discrimination complaint. The intake investigator told me it was also retaliation for my previous complaint, which I had not thought of.

congrats on meeting your weight loss goal, jeppy!
Thanks early morning. While I try to be conscious to choose healthy foods, rather than forbid myself to eat certain things I am limiting the times during the day that I eat.
Yes, good work on the weight loss, Jeppy!
I did the mending I needed to do.
DB is feeling better and is scheduled to fix the step today, after which we will go on the July hike.

Yppej, congrats on the weight loss! I lost 50lbs 2 years ago and kept it off by eating 1600 calories a day. I weigh myself daily to catch any upward trends.
Finish the epic book cull ongoing
Pack books going to Husband's friend did a little bit
Empty 4 boxes in the storage unit nope
Figure out what we're going to do with the shelf in storage unit still no idea
Knit Cardigan 25% done
Keep the guest room bed clear of junk ha ha no
Have one non screen day every month have to figure it out soon
Life decided to dump things on my head all at once this month, stuff with my elderly parents, I was informed that upper management has a thing for certifications and it would look really good if I had one when I do my yearly review early next month. I'm still in the probationary period so any cost comes out of my pocket. Once I'm past the probationary period I can get the company to pay for the fees. So I'm doing a Google certification for something adjacent so I can a certification for free, it's just time consuming. Trying to get this over with so I can do my no screen day on the 30th and/or 31st.
Gave away more books on Buy Nothing and received a DM from a science teacher who is looking for specific titles to show her students how fast science can change things. There are a few Science Fiction titles from the 50s and 60s where the science was outdated right before or shortly after the novel was published. Normally I do lots and people can give away the books they don't want, made an exception for her since she's a teacher and asked nicely. Did tell her I could not guarantee I have the books or they will be available for pick up before the school year begins.
Just came to terms that the spare room bed is now the staging area for our fall trip.
My update:
Through 9/21 I hope to:
1. Lose the weight I am rolling over from the summer challenge. Done - working on the next five pounds - currently plateaued
City Councilor sponsoring the petition will draft it for me
3. Fix (really, enlist DB who is willing to fix, only he has been sick) board on the side steps that is coming up. It is currently weighted down with a big rock. Done
4. File a gender discrimination complaint against the City for among other things the Health Director repeatedly talking to a member of the public about her butt after she asked him not to. My city is so bad! Done
5. Fully fund another year's contribution to my Roth IRA. Due in August
6. Continue with hiking at least once per month. On track despite issues with my joints
7. Scrape clear all the small scraggly growth in the yard between my nice ground cover. Done but it's growing back - will need to do again
8. Continue with efforts to hold the Board of Health accountable for their actions. Recently I filed an ethics complaint with the state that may require follow up. The Chair has high ($1 million) payments from the pharmaceutical industry whose EUA products he mandated for children. Very wrong. State did nothing on ethics complaint; city ethics officer is also unresponsive. Awaiting response of state medical licensing bureau
9. Attend city council meetings as needed to fight tyranny. The Historical Commission is working on an ordinance to fine people $300 per day if they don't like their stone walls. That should make it to the council this quarter. Working on this - reached out to the author whose book they are basing their ordinance on and he says their approach is overzealous
10. Continue my efforts to find medical/dental providers who do not require masks. Burned out on this for the moment but I will get there at some point. Contacted more but got nowhere - giving up

The furnace cleanouts have been completed.
I've been focusing a fair bit of time and effort on improving my basic pot-throwing skills, which wasn't on my list, but feels like a worthwhile accomplishment as I see incremental progress.

I finally reviewed the Medicare info I had received a few months ago. I don't know why I procrastinated on this one for so long, well maybe I do, because it was pretty BORING. There was an online presentation that was every bit as much fun as the e-learning crap I once had to do at work. Plus it really hammers home the fact that I'm really, truly not getting any younger. Ha.
I can at least say that I've paid enough attention in the past couple of years and have gleaned info here and there as I've come across it, so that I have a decent big picture understanding of the kinds of choices I will need to make and the general pros and cons of Advantage vs Medigap plans, etc. That's probably more than many 64.25 year-olds can say. I think I'll have to get closer to 65 to get the finer details and related price tags. (My younger sister says quite smugly that she doesn't have to worry about this because I'll have it all figured out long before she hits 65).
I started my friend's tax returns, but I need him to answer a few questions before I can go any further. Questions have been submitted and I'm awaiting a response. Once he responds, I should be able to polish this off rather quickly, since he has the simplest financial situation ever.
Guest room is officially the staging area for the Fall trip, at least it will be clear again when we pack the car.
Officially certified in Google Ads, I will ask about certifications and CEUs in my evaluation next week. Starting my no screen day when i finish work on Friday.
Husband sold his golf clubs so I'm counting it as one box from the storage unit.

I've been procrastinating on this for years. When I was automatically enrolled in Medicare I already had excellent insurance through my wife's employer so I rejected the Part B coverage. Now, she has retired with an effective date of September 1st so I'm having to scramble to get my ducks in a row. She'll also be converting to Medicare in October and has tasked me with finding the proper supplemental plan for the both of us.
The first thing I had to do was re-apply for Part B which wasn't a big deal, I received my new Medicare card today. I tried calling various providers last week but noone wanted to talk to me until my Part B thing was taken care of, which I guess now it is. I should be making those calls again today, but I'm not looking forward to it, maybe tomorrow.

We went to a Medicare insurance advisor who of course gets paid from the insurance company she refers us to. But anyway, the first few years of Medicare I didn’t want have to negotiate too much of it or understand it. Part of our challenge was going between regional systems although it’s unclear to me how much that really causes problems. And, we had spent a few months wrangling with the federal government about ACA coverage for DH who was, according to them, super poor and in need of Medicaid. They were wrong of course but that’s just the stupid government, and I wanted a rest from health insurance concerns.
Anyway, this winter I want us to give a cursory look to our health insurance plans. I doubt we will change them, though. I’m not terribly concerned about how much it costs on a monthly basis, I just want to be covered for super catastrophic events. The state laws that govern Advantage programs vary from state to state, so I’m leery of Advantage programs because I keep hearing different things about them.
We definitely have to look at our “other “insurance since I know that’s way too high: house, auto, umbrella.
Another thing we have to do is update our will and trust.
The physician I've had for years recommended an insurance broker his staff and family have used. I don't think I would just pick an insurance broker out of some modern version of the yellow pages due to some suspicions about them out to make a buck, but he was very helpful. And I'd read the Medicare for dummies book.
I had an advantage plan that required a referral from my PCP to see other doctors or specialists, but switched to a PPO that doesn't require a referral. Over the winter I had a couple of complicated medical issues, all of which are happily behind me now, but not having to constantly go back to the PCP for a referral was worth some of the minor additional expenses for co-pays, deductibles, or out of pocket maximums (which I never came close to). Prescription issues seemed about the same although I think there would be differences for the higher tier more expensive drugs. I don't have any monthly premiums to pay and my plan was given four stars out of five by my state's rating system.
The medical systems tried to bill insurance well over a hundred thousand, of which insurance only allowed a small portion. My total out of pocket was less than a thousand. So my advantage plan has been satisfactory so far.
I think it's awful how we've got this complex alphabet soup set of programs for Medicare that seniors, many not doing well cognitively as you all are, have to try to navigate, sometimes on an annual basis. It should be one program, funded with Social Security taxes, that pays for everything. Cut out the private insurers and save money.
Even after all the covid crap if the Democrats would give us a simple single payer healthcare system they might get my vote back. It could be administered by the states - in Canada it is administered by the provinces.

I agree that the complexity of the programs is absurd. One of the things I needed to review was a presentation from Via Benefits, a program provided by my former employer that is supposed to help me compare and select the best plan.

I just got a card in the mail It looks official and a smart “Medicare notice “that’s advising me due to my recent move I have 90 days to change my Medicare plan. Looking at the postcard more carefully it’s put out by an Advantage seller.
Although I've given up on getting a primary care doctor, I decided to see about finding a dentist in New Hampshire who won't require me to wear a mask.
My dental card says "Delta Dental of Massachusetts" so I emailed my HR department to see if I can go out of state with the plan. The plan's website does pull up providers in NH, but the last time I had an issue with them not covering what they said they would, so I asked HR for something in writing.
Printed 50 results (max) from the dental insurer website in a radius from the closest NH town to me. Looked at their websites and ruled some out as they are too specialized, too focused on cosmetics, say they require masks, or use the dreaded phrase "we will set up a treatment plan for you" which to me equals overselling. My teeth are fine and just need routine cleaning. I don't need them to invent things to be treated.
HR gave a lame response.
Got the Historical Commission to back down on their proposed ordinance.
The City finally conducted their investigation and claimed the individual receiving pharma $ never mandated vaccines. Emailed them back with direct quotes from meeting minutes showing he did. Will see if this goes anywhere.
Reweeded the patch of yard.
May do my August hike this coming Saturday when it forecast to be cooler.
We're at the halfway point between the Summer solstice and Autumn equinox, how is everyone doing?
Hoping to be farther along, but whatever
Finish the epic book cull ongoing
Pack books going to Husband's friend put a bunch of books in box, will pack more efficiently in September
Empty 4 boxes in the storage unit 1 of 4 done
Figure out what we're going to do with the shelf in storage unit need to take measurements now that I can reach it
Knit Cardigan starting on the sleeves tonight
Keep the guest room bed clear of junk changed to staging area for Fall trip
Have one non screen day every month July accomplished, need to look at calendar for August
Emailed one dentist in NH, no response yet.
Too hot to hike this coming weekend - the forecast has changed for the worst.
No response from the dentist, but got a notice from a place I went to years ago for an MRI that they had a data breach. I am really starting to hate the medical establishment. They found out in March but are only now telling me in August. Maybe just as well I can't find maskfree providers.

I completed my friend's tax returns.
Some folks on the City Council are trying to do an end run around Prop 2 1/2 so I will be speaking up against that.
More issues with the steps (side railing loose) that DB fixed.
Did my August hike.
Pressing the City to complete the ethics investigation of the BOH chair. The Ethics Officer is back from vacation so hopefully this happens soon.
Historical Commission went back on their word and are also refusing to release minutes. Filed a complaint with the state.
Appointment with eye doctor in NH whose office is mask optional booked.
Fully funded another year's IRA contribution.
Continuing to try to get answers from the Ethics Officer. May go public, but probably not until after my City Council petition is heard.
Finish the epic book cull ongoing

Reached the point where the books are on the shelves instead of everywhere else, except for books we're actively reading. Have a box full of books to donate to husband's friend's classroom. Need to pack the box better or turn it into two smaller boxes of books. Once I sew the buttons on the cardigan it will be done, will do that tonight. Probably going to use the shelf as a place for things we use a few time a year like the roasting pan, and it has hooks so we'll use the hooks for the snow shovel and ice scraper. This weekend will be the no screen day, so I'm doing the update now. Emptied two small boxes and working on a plan for the fall challenge
Hana, Great progress. It seems the no junk on the guest room bed is serving you well. A place to pack and unpack, but otherwised empty!

They have two proposed ordinances that infringe on private property rights.
1. They can fine you $300 a day if they don't like your stone wall. I have a stone wall.
2. They want to automatically categorize every house more than 50 years old a historic with various restrictions. My house is over 50 years but in no way historic.

if they designate your house as “historic “I assume that will restrict what you can do to the exterior.
as for your stone wall, the law has to be more specific than they don’t “like “the stone wall. That is, if stone walls are allowed at all, they would have to be meet a standard. Does yours meet the standard they’re proposing?
for the record, I think it’s perfectly fine that people who don’t want to live within historic district standards argue against them going into place. There are pros and cons to them. But once they go into place, you need to follow them.
For my neighborhood that was covered by architectural standards, I had zero patience for people who moved into the neighborhood and then complained about the historic standards they were required to meet. I encouraged them to move out to the county where there are no historic standards.

Any "alteration. relocation, or demolition" of a stone wall would require a written plan, a hearing before the Planning Board, possibly a contingency repair bond, the commission comes out whenever they get around to it to micromanage the work. Had a coworker in a town with such an ordinance and if a stone popped out of the wall he couldn't just put it back in.
We have a historic district and I am not in it. Now they want to make any house in the city over 50 years old automatically historic. They are lazy and don't want to evaluate properties to determine if they really are historic.
Heck my house was cheaply built in 1997 and they still want to control every aspect of the exterior. I do not mind too much except that whether we have white or cream windows and whether we have 2 or three glass panels in our backyard door which cannot be seen is pretty stupid. I think they are just trying to keep busy. And we homeowners can see that the developers do not have to follow the same rules and wonder how $$$ enter into the system of rules. Huge apartment building has raw exposed concrete that is not allowed in our historic district but........
A couple of surrounding neighborhoods could use some rules but eventually all the little houses will be gone and modern expensive towers will fill the lots. Right now it is so jarring to see a modern storage container multi storied house ($600,000+) next to a 1940s one story shallow pitched roof house.

Hana: You are doing so well with your list! Me not so much since I've found more interesting/enjoyable things to do than many of those on my list, lol. I can foresee that some of them will get pushed off to the winter.
Hana, Great progress. It seems the no junk on the guest room bed is serving you well. A place to pack and unpack, but otherwised empty!
So far it's working great, used to use the living room as the staging area and had to deal with tripping over stuff. Thought it was worth is since we sometimes fail at object permanence and forget things. Now it's out of the way but still visible. If friends get stranded at the airport or need emergency crash space we can move it so someone can spend the night.
Rosa: Summer is my most active time so I try to do as much as possible. When winter arrives I'll burrow under a pile of blankets and stay until spring.
Some people are telling me I don't need a sponsor or signatures to get a petition before the City Council. I may have to take time off work and go down there in person to try to sort this out. Holding off for a couple days in case people are on vacation around the holiday and that's why I am not getting answers on the conflicting information I've been given.
Emailed a dentist in Vermont to see if they will take me without a mask. It's a new practice and they seem eager for business, advertising same day appointments. All I need is a cleaning so I am not concerned about lack of experience, though they have some experience at another practice before they bought their own.
The dentist emailed they could take me as first or last of the day without a mask but I don't think they really wanted me as a patient, because they put me on hold a long time and finally I hung up. Will keep trying other places.

Have one non screen day every month deciding on September's date
Spent Labor Day weekend finishing the epic book cull. Been a year in the making, we did it. Every book we own is on a shelf, on the nightstand, or in the box for friend's students. The donation box is packed efficiently, maybe a little to efficient. Will have to see if it's too heavy for husband to lift and carry to the car. Cardigan is done, washed and blocked. Currently in the cardigan bin since it's too warm for cardigans. Still deciding on September's no screen day, leaning toward Sept 17 or 18. Fall is a busy time for me personally and professionally so it might be harder to have the no screen days, but I'm sure I can pull it off.
Also planning my Fall challenge projects, will be less ambitious since I'm traveling most of the season.
Hana: Would love to hear more about your fall travels if you are willing to share. You've done great on the summer challenge!
rosarugosa: Leaving DC Columbus Day weekend and spending 3 weeks in husband's hometown to deal with probate stuff, his college reunion, and a concert from one of our favorite comedians. Then we're spending a few days in Memphis eating barbecue and going to Sun Studio since that's on husband's bucket list. If anyone knows of any Halloween parties or events in or around Memphis let me know.
Then we head to New Orleans, I'm volunteering at an event there since a dear friend asked me to take her place in January. Her son is dealing with a major medical thing and advocating for him was a full time job. Now he's much better though it will be a long journey to getting back to his pre crisis activities. Part of the time will be taking over her kitchen and filling her freezer. Heading home via Atlanta to visit friends. We will be back home around Veteran's Day.
I can work anywhere in the continental US and husband can work in any US state or territory. We're taking advantage as much as we can. We plat to vote once early voting opens in late September.
That sounds exciting, Hana. I hope you have a great autumn!

So near and yet so far. My health insurer purchased a telehealth company and are promoting it, but I can't use it for my annual physical.
After being told my petition to make the Board of Health elective rather than appointive would be on the agenda next week, now the City Council president is refusing to let it be heard. I have bern told it needs 3838 signatures, no signatures (which matches the form), 3 signatures, 50 signatures, 100 signatures. My City is a complete excrement show.

Yppej, that’s really weird because I don’t see how they can keep changing the rules.
It's government of male Italians, by male Italians, for male Italians. Others need not apply in their mind.
Since the summer challenge began I have lost 10 pounds, double the goal I set for myself.
I should still lose 10 more to get into the healthy weight range for my height and gender.
What's worked for me is restricting the times I eat. Now I eat (and leisurely, I don't gobble) for 30 minutes a day:
10 before I go to work (skip this on the weekends if I sleep in)
10 late morning
10 in the evening when I get home from work
While I do not ban myself from eating any particular food, I try to focus on foods that will leave me feeling full until my next meal.
yppej, That's an interesting way to schedule meals. It seems to be working well for you. Congratulations.

rolled from spring:
1. divide and rehome some of my early spring native plants and hostas to new bed, and share w/SIL for her new flowerbeds. *this may have to wait until fall, depending on the heat. have to move this to spring for various and sundry reasons
2. finish removal of fence, posts, debris from old kennel area half-done. Need help with some large things and the fence posts will have to wait until the ground is soggy or we make a fence puller, so it's mostly done for the season
3. removed trash trees from field ingress/egress partly done, hope to do more
New:
4. remove old entertainment center from an upstairs bedroom crickets from promised helpers, lol
5. remove at least two large (something I can't carry myself, lol) items from barn and property (no fair shifting from barn to shed!) ok, I COULD move them myself but counting anyway... took two large vintage grease drums we'd used to store feed in the barn over to the antique mall. one has already sold!
6. call at least TWO of the repair people we need and get two of our large tasks done and paid for nope. I hate doing this stuff and procrastinate like crazy
Wow, you all are doing great!! I've made some progress, slow, but still better than nothing, lol. Keep on keeping' on, right? :- )
We stained a trellis!!!! On the list since last year, so a great thing. Wet n Forget-ed the rest of the siding so the whole house is finished. Weeded the compost and more to do, but that's done.
It took a six hour round trip drive, but I got my mask free eye exam. They wanted me to come back in two weeks for tests but I declined.
My vision including peripheral vision is fine as well as my eye pressure, but there is some thinning of the nerves behind one eye that could eventually lead to glaucoma. I have had these tests before where you watch dancing dots of light on the screen and my eyes have not changed since then.
Depending on the tests they would then want to prescribe eyedrops. I told the doctor my confidence in the pharmaceutical industry is so low even if he prescribed the drops I might not take them.
Does anyone take these eyedrops? If so, what brand? I would like to start researching them and make sure people don't report side effects. I don't trust Fauxci and his buddies to be objective because of all their pharma royalties.
My eye benefit is every calendar year so I can go again January, hopefully closer to home from someone else so I get a second opinion.
Final List:
Finish the epic book cull done
Pack books going to Husband's friend done
Empty 4 boxes in the storage unit done
Figure out what we're going to do with the shelf in storage unit done
Knit Cardigan done
Keep the guest room bed clear of junk changed to staging area for Fall trip
Have one non screen day every month done
Had September's no screen day on the 18th. Think I'm going to try it again in the Fall. Working on my Fall list, it will probably be divided into before trip and after trip.

Yppej, that’s really weird because I don’t see how they can keep changing the rules.
Well, if we ascribe sincere intent, it could be that they’re trying to figure out which part of the city charter this request falls under. This would be a case for the city attorney to take on and provide the opinion. Which is only an opinion of course.

The City solicitor is a political appointee and was chosen based on his loyalty and campaign contributions to the mayor, not his legal skills. He did say he will go to the county law library and try to get help. The bigger problem is the city council president who hates my petition and has stated he doesn't think city residents are capable of picking "the right kind of people" for the Board. I am not a Trumper but when I run into elitism like this I totally understand Trumpism.
Found a dentist in Vermont who will take me as a patient without making me wear a mask. I go tomorrow. A nice way to end my summer challenge!
Still looking for a PCP.
