I hope our grand leaders take this as a signal to be negotiating their asses off. It might even be best of daddy Joe is not in the room when this goes on.
Murderous psychopaths are not to be negotiated with. Did we negotiate with Hitler? "Sure Adolf, you can have France and Germany."
Which part of Ukraine are you willing to turn over to him--the man who started this whole thing? Committed war crimes too numerous to mention, regularly has anyone who dares to speak up defenestrated--literally--or slipped some polonium tea?
The only negotiations I would sign off on would be life imprisonment in the Gulag in exchange for a full confession, in place of a swift execution.
I read he made that announcement the day after conducting a nuclear exercise. Makes you wonder about their capabilities.
I also understand he has dug up Grigory Potemkin’s bones for repatriation to the Motherland. Apparently Putin is a big fan.

Yeah--the whole country is a Potemkin village, with its own Potemkin army.
