Arizona has a new law regarding sealing criminal records which will allow many many non-violent offenders to have their criminal records sealed after a set number of years. This new law seems to be about giving some ex offenders a second chance. Overall I'm all for it. What's your take? Rob
I have heard sealed records aren't really sealed and law enforcement can still access them. Pardons or expungements might be better?

As I understand, law enforcement can still see these records - but most employers and landlords can't. Rob
I worked at expunging records but if we had requests to seal I don't remember any coming though. We got a lot for juvenile records but rarely any for adults. Once their record is expunged their name is no longer attached to the incident but the reports of the incident and anybody else involved remain.
