It's a rhetorical question. I ask it not because I want to know if any individuals have placed any bets. But I want to call attention to problem gambling on the occasion of one of the biggest sports events of the year.
Resources are available 24/7 at http://www.ncpgambling.org There is information on the website and contact information for phone, chat, or text communications.
The website has a scholarly paper, A Review of Sports Wagering, by Winters and Derevensky (2019), which noted:
...Mobile device bettors... have had a higher proportion of problem gambling (22%) than individuals who used other modes of betting
...Mobile betting, with its one-touch, easily accessible wagering options, allows for accelerated speed of play and more instantaneous and immediate gambling...

I think the Chiefs are playing so I will always root for the Missouri team.

Okay----Probly, one team or the other will win. But no--I could care less which one. Nope. I'm keeping an eye on my bad neighbor, to see if they're hosting a foo-baw party, or going elsewhere for foo-baw. Again, it will be one or the other. It's a nice day, perfect for backyard projects. Thankk Me.
I was just now reading an article about that and was thinking that people who wage large sums of money on sporting events, or other forms of gambling for that matter, live in a realm that is hard for me to picture.
I don't have a favorite and don't know enough to speculate on a winner, but it seems like a tradition of the season to watch at least part of the game and eat chips and dip.
I bet the grocery store will be almost empty during the SportsBallFest, so I'm doing my marketing then.
Nope. Work did a pool and I skipped it as usual. Won’t even watch. I don’t have a TV anymore and no way would I pay to stream it.
I haven't gambled since losing 2 paychecks in a row playing payday blackjack in the barracks in 1973. I am watching the Super Bowl though, go KC!

Did some of the work shopping around the time it started. Would have liked to do some more but exhausted after all the orders (and people thinking they should be able to call and get stuff in ten minutes when preorders have been coming in for days).
I am the don't give a * guy. I ended up taking a nap.

Dh got two squares in a $5 pool - one for him and one for me. Foxed showed the game online for free, so I was able to watch. I enjoyed it and, yay, KC!!

We had a Super Bowl party at my DS/DIL house, just for an excuse to get together, really. But we did have a family football pool. I didn't win any of the quarters. I was rooting for the Eagles, not with any great enthusiasm but because they are a lot closer to my former hometown. However, I did live in Kansas City for a month when I worked on the 76 Republican Convention, so I'm just as happy they won. It was an exciting game!

Okay---Looka this---it is you kidses' Music Superhero, 'Carts at the Stupid Bull. But--looka all the empty seats around him. It is because guys like him are the only ones who can afford ticckicks for the event! See--he has scads o' money, from singing songs like; "The Long And Winding Road To Hey Judes Strawberry Door in The Sky with Lady Madonna Stand-ing there.." Yup. But yeah---next year, he's going to sing: "I wanna hold your ham, yeah, yeah, yeah, Mee-Shell, woooo!", during half-time, while Ringo drums, absent-mindedly . Tickkicks will be costing TWICE as much, but of course--he'll get in free & be paid at least a million pounds. . Yup Hope that helps you some.5191519151915191
I don’t believe in gambling. Unless you count matrimony.

Hmmm, with Valentine's Day just over your shoulder, I hope your DW doesn't think you considered marrying was a risky bet, but I'm glad the odds seemed to pay off in your (and her) favor.
Now, in my case, matrimony was a risky bet, and against all odds, we're still in the game at 46 years.

A lot of things come down to some sort of risk assessment, hopefully based on historical outcome probabilities from similar conditions. The stock market is somewhat borderline to me.
