Changes in FB Groups…wTF!

Recently, Facebook has changed its options for administering and managing groups. I cannot figure it out. I entered under the events tab all of my groups upcoming events for the year. Now I can’t find them.


I can’t even find a tutorial on the new changes. I can’t even find that there’s any mention of there being changes. Fortunately, somebody in my group verify that I am not crazy that Facebook has made things difficult now.

Are any of you finding this to be true?

Worse yet, the other day it started sending me unsolicited Messenger “chats” containing posts in various groups I follow. Bother.

Okay---They are just trying to make it more efficient, in their own inscrutable way. They are figuring that if they confuse some people, the less motivated people will give up and go away. IOW, raising the bar for participation. But yeah---I empathize, but not sympathize with you kids. It's like at the local big box, when they rearrange the mdse to different aisles, after you've finally learned the layout of the store. That being said; Only the strong survive. Yup. My only theory is that they added some new feature for group admins to turn on this "helpful" Messenger-chat business, as it has only happened to me on a small handful of groups. The several community groups I administer have not experienced this, but also, I have not done any button-pressing for ages for admin purposes.
