To make a prairie

To make a prairie it takes a clover
and one bee --
One clover, and a bee,
And revery.
The revery alone will do
If bees are few.

and dusting," my aunt would say
as her rag, like a thunderhead,
scudded across the yellow oak
of her little house. There she lived
seventy years with a ball
of compulsion closed in her fist,​
and an elbow that creaked and popped
like a branch in a storm. Now dust​
is her hands and dust her heart.
There's never an end to it.

Okay----I got lots o' talents, including poems. Yup. I've started on several poems, which at present, are unfinished. But yeah---here's one called: No Kitty No. It goes: "No, kitty, no....No, kitty, no...........no, kitty, no......no, kitty, no.......No, kitty, no........No, Kitty, no.......No, Kitty, no.......(unfinished). So anyway---one o' these days my creative side will kick in again, and I'll finish with the closing verse. Yup.

Okay----April is also significant in that there are no less than three anniversaries of major events in the life of the late, great tyrant Adolf Hitler. Yup. 20th was his birthday, I believe the 29th would be his wedding anniversay, and on the 30th, he took his own life, to avoid being captured by the approaching Russians. Yup. But yeah---what a mess that all was. Hope that helps you some.

Okay---Here's a photo of a poet who is considered THE most influential in American History! Not counting Dr Suess, of course. But yeah---see photo. He spent SO much time working on producing poetry, that he didn't have the time to shave and get a haircut. Thankk Mee.5401

My writing group is studying Mary Oliver's book A Poetry Handbook for the next month or so. I've only read the Intro and chapter one and have pulled out old poetry books to read. Perhaps I'll get better with practice! Thanks Dado for posting!
