Their website says their "alumni" include 69,500 providers since the launch in the 1970s.
I am curious what patients have to say about the quality of care they received. I have a hunch the NHSC providers are mainly engaged in small town and rural health care facilities. I was reading about one provider who did 6 years in Borneo before moving to the Methow Valley of Washington state.
Please do not disclose information of a personal nature. I am curious to know if these providers are regarded as effective in the small towns where there frankly is no other alternative.
