I do a lot of stuff on my iPad and wanted something to make typing easier. The case/keyboard combo for iPad 10 is $250, which is stupid money! The Logitech K380 actually popped up in a FB ad. I searched for reviews, found the NYT Wirecutter thing loved it, and i found a ton of good reviews on Amazon. So I got one. It’s a tad under $30. Worth every penny! So easy to type on. I can really crank things out with it. It’s a narrow keyboard, which might cause issues for people with large hands, but I have small ones, so that is not an issue. I chose not to get the associated mouse, as I have no issues with doing things by touching the screen on my iPad. Absolute joy to type on. Comes in a bunch of colors, too! It’s a bit larger than my iPad when it’s in landscape format (on the side).

You can use this keyboard with both Apple and Android tablets and phones, as well as Apple and Windows computers. It can switch between up to three gadgets and has a keyboard that can do both Apple/iOS and Windows/Android commands.

Thanks for that pointer! I am not a fan of the stock (stupid-expensive) Apple keyboard/case as well.

I've been looking for a keyboard for my Lenovo tablet. Actually bought one only to find out that it had the wrong kind of connection plug (was not specified in the ad). I'll check this out. Thanks, bae.

I'll keep this in mind! I keep telling DH he should get one because he uses his iPad 24/7--he doesn't have a computer. So far he says he doesn't need one, but if it changes his mind, I can recommend this one! I just have an iPad mini which I use strictly for podcasts and Kindle.

This is Bluetooth so no worry about connection plug.

I saw that! And just recently started using bluetooth ear buds on my tablet and phone, so this may be a "next step" for me. LOL. (Yes, sometimes I'm late to the party. LOL)

LOL. I’ve even used this keyboard with my iPhone. Works for that, too!

Last night I was in bed with iPad and this new keyboard on a lap desk. I was just clattering away.

This little keyboard has been very helpful for a friend going through chemo and having neuropathy in her hands. It enables her to type, as texting/email is her primary way of communicating these days. She doesn’t feel like talking on the phone at all.

I’m giving it as a Christmas present to my 18 yo goddaughter. She’s doesn’t have a keyboard for her iPad and said she wanted one when I asked.

Another Logitech iPad accessory for the win! i345 Bluetooth mouse for iPad. I got an Amazon refurbished one for $19. Now that I’m secretary of a WI underwater archaeology group, I will be taking notes at meetings. With the keyboard and the mouse, I will be able to use iPad to take notes at meetings, without having to haul my much heavier laptop. This mouse is SO nice to use! I’m sitting in bed with a little lap desk with a pull out mouse tray. It’s just amazing how $30 for the keyboard, $19 for the mouse, and $60 for the Logitech crayon make such a difference with the iPad. I only pull out the laptop these days if I need to do something on a website (usually something gov’t related) that doesn’t play well with mobile browsers. Man, has technology come a long way.
