The backstory on this house is certainly quirky. Supposedly the husband and wife lived next door and divorced in the 1930's and the settlement was that she got half the lot. So she built a wedge shaped little house to live in on her half of the lot, thus blocking his view of the street while providing herself with a place to live at a time when single women had limited options for taking care of themselves. But goodness, it's well laid out, and for me, quite adorable. It last sold for $630k a few years ago according to zillow, which is astounding. One couldn't have a lot of stuff living there, but for a minimalist this could potentially be a lovely place.
