Apparently dead of prostate cancer. Wow. The name brings back so many mid 90's memories for me from when I was still living in Portland, OR, and I still had hair. The infamous Bronco chase. Marcia Clark. If the gloves don't fit you must acquit. Even I who has little faith if any in the United States was shocked at the not quilty verdict. To me, OJ is proof positive that money can buy justice outcomes and that the justice system - though lately working in sentencing criminal cops for many years (FINALLY!!!) - really is corrupt and something to be terrified of as a citizen. Rob

PS - my personal favorite character in this sorry saga was Rosa Lopez - the El Salvadorian maid of one of Simpson's neighbors. Who was your favorite character?

The guy who lived in OJ’s pool house, Kato Kaelin, was a bit of a comedic character.

Who knew at the time that the OJ saga was really the prequel to Keeping Up with the Kardashians???! And its spinoff Bruce/Catlyn Jenner?

The entire thing is a freak show.

I'm glad I'm not him having to meet up with Nicole, although supposedly, all that gets worked out somehow.

okay----i first heard it this morning, before the major media outlets had seized upon the opportunity to start in on the juice. even that old windbag gloria a. got a chance to come outta the cellar where she's been hiding the last few years to bash simpson. but yeah---you gotta agree with littlebitymee on something----oj may've lost his fortune and his popularity with "nice people", but he made the talking heads , news media, & hangers-on some moo-lah! hope thatt helps you some. thankk mee. ETA: the day oj was acquitted in '95, i went & picked up a "free" siberian huskee. she was very eccentric girl, and the people who had her before me didn't like her. nope.

I paid as much attention to the OJ Simpson trial as I do to the British royal family. I don't think I watched a single minute of it.

I just remembered my favorite character--it was the Akita Kato. If only he could have testified.

As on pundit put it, “Johnnie Cochran’s greatest challenge looms”.

It took me a minute to get that--you mean like The Devil and Daniel Webster?

Yeah. I always loved that story. I can just picture Cochran performing in the Infernal Court of Appeals.

I hate to admit this, but a year after the murders we were in So. Cal and visited OJ's house, then drove to Nicole's. i was not into going, but later I thought,
what the heck. It was a bit surreal seeing it after watching it on TV all those months. The big take away was when we drove from OJ's house (neighborhood was
still blocked off so we had to walk up the steet) to Nicole's condo. It was 4pm, we were only using a map and both of us were amazed how little time it took
us to find it. The time between his house and her condo was a huge item in the trial. As I understand the new owners of OJ's property demolished it and built
new - smart.

With all the interviews coming out now, today I learned that the man who was the ghost writer for OJ‘s book was the same guy who gave key testimony AGAINST OJ at the trial. The guy said he heard a very unhappy dog wailing and barking in the direction of Nicole‘s house.

The ghost writer said he and OJ had an uneasy relationship at the beginning of the book’s creation. He didn’t want the job, but the editor insisted that he do it because he had created many works for her. OJ and he ended up getting along better but they were never friends and he definitely thinks OJ did it.

okay........i am very disturbed by the fact that oj's brain is not going to the lab to be examined for abnormalities, such as that found in those of numerous(i guess) foobaw players and others with head injuries. but yeah---how can such a seeminly affable and sociable individual turn inta a savage killer? with a knife, no less. being that he was receiving MUCH of his income in his later years from his foo-baw pension and his sag pension, maybe he din't want to bite the hand that fed him. see?

okay----I been reading the hijacked version of "if I did it" by OJ. okay---I briefly started the forward by Fred g & d dunne and skipped them, because they are both exploitive, self-serving blowhards. yup. I also did some other independent reading to research other questions such as: did oj abuse his first wife, to whom he was married for 12 years? Nope. she even has said so. see? here is some more evidence for you: Nicole was a climber & a gold-digging ferarri-driving strumpet who should've waited, and picked up the glasses the next day. . yup. but yeah--coulda been a robbery by her coke dealer or a serial killer or random thugs passing by. I definitely have reasonable doubt that oj. did it. not gonna take the easy choice, like mosta you kids.
Hope that helps you some.

okay----there's another book---published awhile back---about the Simpson Case. but yeah---it's for those like me who have nagging doubts about simpsons culpability. but anyway---it's called: Killing Time" by Donald Freed & some other guy. the book is a bit pricy, even for used copies. yup. i listened to a video of an interview of Freed, and he made the case the OJ couldna done it, and why. so yeah---i'll put this one on the back burner. Thankk mee.

okay-----listened to a video by vincent bugliosi. but yeah----"bugs", as i like to call him, firmly believes oj was guilty. in fact---EVERYONE is ALWAYS guilty, 'cordin' to bugs. "Bugs" was a VERY zealous prosecutor, by gum. yup. so theres that. end of story. lets move on. so anyway, while OJ was in jail awaiting trial, he wrote a book, ostensibly in response to the letters from many fans of his. but yeah---you can buy a brand-new unsold copy o' this one, very cheap.. so i will. to be continued....

okay-----did you kids know the simpson prosecutor marcia clark is a jew? but, non-observant. yup. she was also a scientologist, for awhile. she has been quoted as saying that ever since childhood, she has been addicted to crime. yup. how do you like that?

okay----if oj really did it, what in the heck would be his motive? i'd think he'da been glad ta get rid o' vain, hi-maintenance, moody nicole, the legal way, still have her as primary caregiver to his offspring(just like his first wife) and move on to another gal, and let some other guy put up wih her. i mean, it's not like he's one a those thin-skinned losers you read about in the paper. but yeah--we had an MD here, a filipino, and his anglo wife, and it seemed like the story was that the kids were school age, & she wanted to embark on a self-actualizing career path, besides being a matron. well, this evidently went beyond the boundaries set by the MD/husbands' personal & cultural mandates. Soooo, he killed her and then himself at home, while the kids were in bed. in the aftermath the kids then went to the inlaws--her parents. but, what was the purpose of THAT macabre act? So anyway--IF oj did it(which is questionable), what on earth did he have to gain? he had everything to lose. so, yeah---i'm taking into account that bizarre circumstances exist, but stillll.....if the personality profile doesn't fit, you must acquit.

okay----here you have two local case studies. the first is where a guy was fleeing from the police, with his gf in the car. the car wrecked, and the guy engaged in a shootout with the police. the outcome was---not only was the guy killed, but his gf was too, as collateral damage, if you will. okay---second case: lovely italian-american single mom killed by younger african-american bf, who then shot himself. (see photos). so anyway----what is my assessment and personality profiles of the male perps involved in this? LOSERS! but no, oj simpson was not a LOSER. now do you see?58175817581758185818581958195819

okay---------here's a news story that has desparate-act-by-a-loser, written all over it. i don't have to put in a link, as it's a current event. yup. thankk mee.582058205820

okay-----since one o' the books theorizing about o j's innocence is more than i usually care to pay for a book, i had to research it before i buy. well---it turns out the authors theory is that o j's oldess son mighta dun it. his "boy" was 24 at the time, very muscular, had committed a prior felony with a knife---domestic assault, and had been treated by a psychiatrist for a "violent rage disorder". well, that may be why he wasn't in prison, at the time. but yeah---the police never considered him a suspect. there's more to it than that; i'll just hafta get a cheap copy o' the book & see what it says. see how in-depth i'm going on my research, before i make up my mind? or should i just believe the news headlines in order to pass judgement, like you kids? ha. hope my snarky comment helps you some. thankk mee.
