I see the Labour Party won 412 of the 650 seats in Parliament with 35% of the total votes cast. I will think of that next time I hear complaints about the Electoral College.

The Tories have been in power for 14 years. It was time for a change.

My daughter, who lives in the UK, seems to think this is a good change for them.

Her partner tried to explain UK politics to me last Fall, but he might as well have been trying to get me to understand the Duckworth Lewis method of scoring cricket matches.

I’ve been listening to BBC Radio daily for a number of years. That helps. And reading the Economist.

I do really like the 6 week campaign though. Would be so nice.

The Reform Party picked up a 5th seat so that seems good.
