Apparently Donald Trump was speaking at a campaign rally in Butler, PA (outside Pittsburgh) when gunshots rang out and apparently law enforcement is indeed investigating this as a possible assassination attempt. Apparently Trump was bleeding from his face after the shots rang out but is said to be safe and overall OK.

Now it's quite true that I am no friend of DJT, not by a longshot. That said, when did the United States decide it wanted to join the 3rd World? I just don't know what to make of this - what's your take? And my take? This just is not right, period. Nope.

Buckle up people, I think the fall out from this incident is far from over. It's hard to know what to think as there really isn't all that much information out yet. I see nothing about the shooter who got "neutralized."

I had a discussion with a friend about his "retirement" job, he was offered. It would not have been a retirement job since Trump decided to run again, and I am happy to see neither Trump, nor any of his security detail, died in this attack. This could increase a lot of secret service members thoughts serving former presidents. (hopefully not as lazy as Truman's agent was, DAMHIK)
