Today I watched a few minutes of congressional hearings on various topics.
Josh Hawley, my state senator, seems to be on camera for many of these congressional hearings. He acts like a bullying jerk. He was questioning nominees to Federal Courts.
I also watched Rand Paul elegantly and objectively quiz health official about their bureaucratic procedures that appear to be intended to deceive and promote a particular narrative. He specially hammered about an NIHS refusal to deliver meeting minutes, and then he hammered about the “gain of function “laboratory activities of our government health officials. He did a very nice job.
There was and still is apparently quite a lot of shenanigans promoting the chosen narrative within these governmental health organizations, and there is serious lack of freedom in supporting true scientific inquiry.
Then I watched California Congressman Eric Swalwal berate Ben Shapiro, bullying him in a ridiculous manner about his personal beliefs. Shapiro was in front of Congress to testify about advertising revenue being tied to particular ideology in the online world, and how that stifles business development. Mr. Swalwell sneeringly quizzed Ben about his opinion on abortion, his opinion on gay marriage. Etc. Ben handled himself well and made some good quips. Finally, he asked why he was being questioned about all those things. It was weird questioning from Swalwal.
An entertaining bit of video with Ben Shapiro and Rand Paul for the wins and the other idiots including gov officials were losers.
