okay----don't know if anya you kids recall that dreadful day that will live in infamy, which the elite deep-state leaders of this country was hoping for, back in the fall of '41. I know that the English-speaking people who had conquered the world needed to step down from trying to be the superior race, and negotiate an armistice, and re-align their foreign policy. But, they didn't, and , after 4 years of war, it happened anyway. So anyway---are you dudes gonna celebrate by shopping for a nice clean safe NEW Subbarroo or perhaps a 'Cedes or one a those Benito-mobiles from Dodge? Ha. So, who really has won that war? Germany is #2 in paying reparations, but the USA is #1. Thanks to US, the French still have their eye-full tower, Napoleons Toomb, and the Mona Lisa, as their cash cows. Yup. But, I might sit on a plane watching mooo--vies and waiting to be fed some slop and alcohol, till I get ta Ho-Woya, tourist trap that the USA conquered, where I can pay my respects to a sunken ship full o' dead sailors that leaks oil inta the Harbor. That'll show how patridiotic I am. Thankk Mee.

I gotta admit I didn't read the OP as lbb is on my ignore list, but while we generally observe Pearl Harbor Day with a quiet remembrance of the dead, I do find "celebrating" it to be a bit off-putting. I always think of celebrations as being happy occasions. Today's observation is the opposite.
