I agree! Very inspiring!

While not 100%, I have started paying more attention to packaging and have actually NOT bought something I needed/wanted because of the packaging.

Right now I'm campaigning my house to reduce plastics. They have adjusted nicely to the homemade laundry soap, the ingredients come in cardboard boxes and bar soap wrapped in paper. I'm trying to get dh used to the idea of bar soap shampoo. I have found several on sale at various places, so am just waiting for the plastic bottles of shampoo and conditioner to get used up. (I've actually started using a glycerin bar soap on my hair. It's only been about 2 weeks, but I notice that my scalp no longer itches!)

Anyway, thanks for sharing the article. Makes me realize my individual efforts are not for naught.

There is a website called EWG. It is from the environmental working group. . It has lists of soap bars that are best for you. I have a shampoo bar I use and it’s great. One of the bar body soaps the recommend is Dr. Bronners, available at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens. also there are paper boxed laundry sheets now.

Thanks so much. I know about Dr. Bronners, just haven't tried that one yet. I also found some boxed laundry sheets at Marshall's for an incredibly low price, so I snatched them up. Waiting to use up the homemade that I have before I try them out. Again, thanks for the website.

The article reminds me of no impact man from 2009ish.

I already use Dr Bronners bar soap. Will check out that website.

It would be helpful if you would link to the list you mentioned. I find their website a bit too crowded to be helpful. Thanks.
