Tech help #2: where is this password stored?

I do not keep passwords to sensitive financial sites in the IOS Password Key app.

yet, the other day I logged into a bank account and my password was supplied from somewhere . Where is that stored and how do I get rid of it?

I like auto fill password, but I had assumed it Would only work with passwords that I have stored. stored. I do not remember it ever working before for this bank.
