I'm sorry to report that TMS passed away on Tuesday, October 28th. His obituary can be found here. https://www.echovita.com/us/obituaries/mo/independence/randal-stevenson-20521836

Two years ago he asked me to post the following in the event of his death.

It has been an interesting couple of months, lots of stress, dealing with the restaurant ownership and an owner that wants it to continue after he is gone with me controlling, without doing any of the legal stuff/EOL stuff, required.
I have been under a lot of stress, and have lost some weight that a lot of people have commented on. (30#) Recently started to get caught up on my age stuff (stopped three years ago, when boss passed), and they discovered some issues. Tuesday it came to a head with the CT scan, that determined I have cancer. I am supposed to go in and I expect they will do a biopsy and then refer me to the oncologist.

This is to be posted by Alan, in case I cease to post that there may have been a complication, where I passed, to explain my absence.

Thank you all for the discussions and entertainment.

PS. If I do die, thank you Kelly Clarkson, since you would have ended up with my cats, rather then me (mutual friend), my sibling whose a fan and loves cats, is taking them.

His restaurant also posted about him on their Facebook page. Based upon the comments there, it appears that he will be missed by many, many friends and acquaintances other than those of us here. https://www.facebook.com/timspizza87

For what it's worth, I am truly sorry. I hope his last moments were light and pleasant and free of pain. What a horrible thing cancer is. Thank You for posting this and letting us all know, Alan. Rob

It was painful to read his recent posts as he went through so much but admired his strength in dealing with all of it.

Sad to hear. It seems like he has a rough time near the trying to manage everything, but took things gracefully.

TMS reminded me of Boxer, the horse in Orwell s Animal Farm. He thought any problem could be solved by working harder, grinding.

It appeared to me TMS took on more than his share of burdens and people took advantage of that.

okay----'cordin' to his obituary, TMS lived in Zurra his whole life, and devoted his whole adult life to Pizza. How do you like that? But yeah---I don't recall him mentioning Pizza, do you?

I just looked at the FB link, and it was really nice to see a picture of him. I had just followed the obituary link initially.

Here's a link for those who don't do Facebook:

This, to me, is the best way to be remembered! I can only hope as much when I die.

"<TooMuchStuff> was a good, kind, and generous man and will be missed by many."

(Plus, I always LOVED his username!)
