Yes, R.I.P.

She was so gifted.

My favorite performance of hers was Best in Show. That movie is one of my favorites of all time. What an ensemble cast!

okay---when they put her picture out the other day, i did not recognize her. but then---it told what mooo-vees she's appeared in, and i knew who she was. But yeah---i don't think a day goes by that we don't lose a celebrity we usta know. And, i don't even know mosta the ones under 50, at this point. Hope that helps you kids.

I was not familiar with her, although when I look at the list of her movies, I must have seen her in Beetlejuice and Lemony Snicket because I did see both of those movies. I had not seen any of the other shows.

Best in Show is a great movie. I remember I got free promotional tickets because someone in our neighborhood worked promo for that distribution company. Another neighbor in the Dog show world had some kind of connection with one of the dogs in the show. I’ve gotta go back and watch this again. It’s been decades since I saw it from beginning to end.

she is here with her comedy sidekick, Eugene Levinson. He’s Canadian as well.

Agree - she was a very good actress. Loved her in the "mock"-umentaries!

okay---not to change the subject---not att all, but we lost the actor who play the son on Sanford and Son. But yeah---it was evidently a afro version of All in the fambly, with the cranky old patriarch. See? Tee-Vee and media in general is behind all these social movements. That's my theory, anyway.

Very sad. I had watched her as a wee tyke since the 1980s on SCTV. She was always fantastic in what she did. Somehow I never saw "Home Alone" or some of her more recent work. She was absolutely brilliant in "Best on Show," as others have already said. I've read that she had situs invertus, a condition where the organs flip sides (i.e. her heart was on her right side), but it's not supposed to cause health issues. From what I can find, her cause of death hasn't been revealed either, apart from citing a "brief illness." Very sad.
