acrylic tables & pet hair

Anyone have experience with acrylic or lucite tables attracting pet hair?

I've always loved that material but read a reveiw form someone who said that acrylic is static and attracts pet hari.

Since my house is full of pet hair, I do not want somthing that looks constantly grimey.

My glass topped tables are always covered in cat hair. I can go around and clean them and look back and there is hair. It is just something I had to get used to since the glass protects the wood.

How about a static spray of some sorts Iris? If I'm not mistaken, there's a cleaner (or polish) for furniture that has an anti-static quality to it. Can't remember the name though. Anyone?

I have some experience with tables at a place of employment which were made of acrylic. While I'm not sure about the pet hair, I found them to easily show scratches and I know that would drive me crazy in my house.
