E-book format converter

In a recent discussion that I can't seem to find, someone mentioned a program that could convert e-books to other formats, from Kindle to Nook, etc. Anybody know what that program is? Or is there one you could recommend?

I have Google e-reader, Kindle and Nook via my Droid apps, and have decided I want to buy a Nook. So, I want to convert everything over to the Nook format.

Not sure what was recently mentioned, but I have a free program called Calibre to convert formats. You can download it here:

The only thing is, it only can convert books that aren't DRM protected. So, I can't convert the Kindle books that I purchase from Amazon, but I can convert books I get from free websites like munseys.com, manybooks.net, etc.

That is the one I use as well. I like the sorting/searching library features, too. It also makes it VERY EASY to upload my books onto the kindle. :D
