My daughter and son-in-law were visiting friends in Notting Hill when a huge group rampaged through the area (whilst there are very expensive homes in that suburb of London, there are also large council estates (housing project) too. They decided that it would be best to go home and their friends agreed.

It is something to make most of us in the UK heartsick. Scotland was not affected - and yet we have many,many immigrants here, ditto Wales. I wonder why?

Thanks for posting Ishbel. You were the very first person I thought of when all this began unfolding. I'm deeply saddened by all the old landmarks that have been forever destroyed over this.
