Hi, I admit I am not very good at acronyms - my brain just doesnt translate them well. I would guess I am not alone. Twice this past week I've opened threads with apparently common acronyms in the title and had no idea what people were talking about.

So I have a request. If you start a thread about something and use an acronym even if you think everyone knows, ...or are first to use an acronym in a thread, would you mind at least at the first mention identifying what it means? Like - I'm taking a job as an SCM (Siamese Cat Manicurist). That would be so helpful.

Thanks for your consideration. Gina :thankyou:

I am also AC (acronymally challenged) :) I am on the Crochetville forum and man 'o man some of those are impossible.

I used to be on Crochetville, too, Sissy. Yep, craft ones are tough. My favorite is UFO - unfinished object!

Fantabulous idea! I'm a total and utter failure when it comes to acronyms. MML! (Make me laugh).

Thank you for starting this thread. Sometimes I just skip a post because I don't know the acronyms. IAACIDKWAOTM (I am acronym challenged, I don’t know what any of the mean).
