Just curious.....Anyone here ever done medical research for extra money?

I ask this as I did a few medical research studies in the late 1990's for extra money and it was not an altogether unpleasant experience and the money was very good for what was required of me. I am thinking of getting debt down down down and out of my life and this idea popped up, and I ran across a website called paidclinicaltrials.com - amazing how many trails are out there! Just wondering what other posters experience with this has been, good or bad.....Former lab rat Rob

I went in for an asthma study but my asthma was too bad to get on the study. I would not do a Stage 1 or 2 trail.

I just listened to segment on This American Life (CBC Radio) a few weeks ago, and the hour program told of the stories behind people who arbitrarily sign up to be human guinea pigs for drug testing. It was chilling. I tried finding the podcast archive for you, but no such luck.
