Today would have been David's and my 40th anniversary. A sad day, but we had 31 years together. It is hard to believe that he has been gone 9 years. He adored Alana, his first granddaughter, but never got to meet Susie, his second. He would have been tickled at her name, as he has a sister, Sue, and he chose her name. David, I hope you're getting lobster, your fave, tonight!!

I am a huge proponent of continuing to celebrate the good times after we have lost a loved one.
