WHY does it say 1 of 120 EVERY TIME I log on now? I patiently went through all the pages and yet if I come back in an hour is shows the same thing. Is this something new?

Hi Shalom. Could you please elaborate further on the 1 of 120 scenario you are encountering? I'm not following. Do you mean when one clicks on "New Posts"?

I never click on the "New Posts" tag, because I'm here daily, so I am always able to stay on top of all new thread topics and posts. Well, I was able to stay on top of things before the new program setting changes.

If you hit 'what's new' when you log in and hit 'mark forums read' when you leave , you will have an accurate reading of the new posts, or at least that is what I am finding.
The system was changed to make the timing more accurate

Mrs-M, this is what I see at the bottom of the page (left side) when I got to new posts: Results 1 to 25 of 120. This is where I usually check in first to see what new has been posted, but have felt overwhelmed with so many! However, razz has a solution that I will soon try.

Me too. Thanks razz - I was about to give up!

I posted a thread topic the other day in the Questions, Comments, Suggestions, etc Forum, and Alan suggested the idea of clicking on mark forums read, but he makes an excellent point Re: main forum headings/thread topics that don't interest a reader, and how those will eventually build-up and accumulate into pages of unread threads. Personally I prefer the old system.

Ditto that. Now that I am used to it, I think the new system makes more sense and works better. I didn't like getting timed out before and being told there were no new posts when I knew there were.
