Local paper is now for iPad and an e-edition. Wonder how long it will take for the paper to no longer be "paper"? I have a hard time envisioning sitting with my cup of tea and the iPad :0!

I'm sort of feeling the opposite. I cancelled our local paper because its just too much stuff. I wish they had a digital version. But I can appreciate that you will miss having it in paper form. Changes are hard sometimes!
But think of all the trees it will save! :+1:

Our small daily local has both versions available and we are considering going digital when the subscription expires: $4 per month digital vs $130 when on special. We need just the local headlines, the word jumble and crossword and any death notices.

I LOVE change but this one will be difficult for two people to do at the same time! I also enjoy having a 'real' book to read. I guess it is just different strokes for different folks.

Can you go digital and print it off and read it that way? ;)
Seems like we're in the midst of so many changes.

My community has gone over the past 5-6 years from a 1-horse once-a-week newsprint newspaper that was becoming less and less useful and relevant, to 3-4 lively updated-daily internet-only publications that have made the still-existing print newspaper almost irrelevant. It's been a positive change, if you have access to a computer.

If I have to print it out then I might as well get the thing in print.... cost prohibitive.

But I thought it wouldn't be available in print, right?
