The chickens are heading out in a few days to do a 14 day Princess cruise down through the Panama Canal, to Ft. Lauderdale.....we'll stay and visit a family member in Miami for a few days, then head back to CA to pick up the motorhome and take off for a few months in the desert areas of AZ......yipee, skippee......our anniversary, Xmas/my birthday, New Year's, etc., and I don't have to cook, do dishes, or anything.....I've loaded up my Kindle with good books, and when not otherwise occupied, plan on sitting on our stateroom's balcony, reading and calling room service........

Hope everyone has a great holiday season.........we won't be going for a couple more days, but don't know how much I'll be around between now and then, so will send out my holiday wishes to all, now.

Spartana, have a wonderful time away - enjoy the skiing!
Loosechicken, I'm anxious to hear about your cruise when you return. That's on my list of things I'd like to do, but I'll have to find some girlfriends to travel with because being on a boat is not on husband's list.

The boys and I are headed north to the farm the day after christmas for a week. Hoping for good travel weather and then some snow to stop around in the woods through while we're there.

Safe travels, everyone who is traveling. Post here about what fun you had when you get back. I'm waiting till January to head back to the States for a couple of weeks. So, I'll have a low-key time here in Honduras.

Thanks everyone! packed and ready to go as soon as the crazy weather we are having subsides. Golf ball size hail, snow in the mountains, and torrential freezing rain in the lowlands yesterday. Now 80 mph warm Santa Ana winds. Calif, if you don't like the weather, wait... :-)! Have fun LC (and everyone else who's taking off on an adventure) sounds like a great trip. I've never been on a cruise ship before - probably something to do with the fact that I was at sea for 10 years for my job - so it never sounded like a "vacation" to me. Although I'm sure the accomadations are a bit nicer and the food alot better :-)!
