I occasionally see stray dogs on our large wooded property, and they usually run off. Yesterday morning I saw 2 running around and tried to ignore them. My chickens weren't in their run yet, so they couldn't scare them.
Then I saw one by our shed so I went out to shoo them away and couldn't believe what I saw. I guess they were trying to get under the wooden shed, where sometimes rabbits hang out. They had totally destroyed an area about 2'x1' at the bottom of the shed. They had clawed it to bits. I was sooooo ticked. the shed was in perfectly good shape before that. They ran off as I was yelling bad words at them. :devil:
I called around to the neighbors, but nobody knew who the owners were. I fortunately haven't seen them since. But now we have a shed to fix. Good thing I was home......who knows what more damage they would have done if they'd had the time. I'd like to damage the dogs' owners.
