I came across this online and just had to post it.
Truer words have never been spoken... especially the 57 Band-Aids part!

Unfortunately, I can't seem to post the graphic, but the link will take you to it:

This is my laugh of the day! Thanks for it, Mtnlaurel. I've posted the graphic for you.

My favourites are, the Toy Recognition Cortex, Endless Repetition Stem, the Whine Region, and Hygiene Avoidance Ventricle!

In the department of the Toy Recognition Cortex, my kids (particularly my boys) would kick all Santa supplied goodness off to the side and engross themselves in play, with all things paper and cardboard box (and tube)!

In the Endless Repetition Stem area, at least in our house that is, whatever mom made clear to my kids (all things they shouldn't and better not do), they did! Like fresh out of the bathtub and into nice, fresh, clean clothes, then out to the flowerbed/garden to play!

The Whine Region, covers off all things we parents already know, and as far as the Hygiene Avoidance Ventricle goes, once my boys (particularly the two youngest) reached the stage of semi-independence, diaper changes created the biggest obstacle of all! Heading them off, corralling them (sometimes together), and lassoing them (one under each arm), was all in a days work for me! If only I had a way of harnessing all the spent kicking and bicycling power of their spindly little legs, poking out through elastic leg-holes of rubber pants, protruding stiffly, with defiance, and going 100 mph, I would have been able to open up my own renewable energy company!
