I'm done! I'm done! I'm done! Yee hah!

After more than 2.5 years of a very intense time of it, I'm finally done with the local theological program I've been doing to become a certified catechist. I just emailed off the essay portion of the Church History and Patristics exam to our instructor (who is also the program head for the diocese).

Thank God I got through this. Sometimes I wondered, like the summer of 2010 when I was working 12 hour days AND trying to study! Now I can concentrate solely on the customs broker exam.

<whew!>

Just had to share. I'm downright giddy!

He's going to teach CCD next year. He'll be done in May. I think it's been a really rewarding experience for him, but he's ready to be done too.

Hooray, hooray, hooray! I remember the lightness of finishing my grad degree.....for a little while, I felt like a "real person" who had a bit of free time and even watched tv. Of course that's when and how I discovered that I really don't like tv but that's okay.

I do hope you take a little time for YOU before diving into the next course. Congratulations!!!
