Is it worth it to remove the rusting spots on your car

We have several spots on our vehicles that are rusting; does anyone know whether this is worth taking care of?

we would be selling these privitely and own them free and clear

Yes, especially if you plan on keeping them a while. Rust on a car is called "cancer" for a reason.

If they are smaller than a square inch and not perforated through, it is not hard to do. Removing for sale may not be worth it unless cars are under 10 years old.

Most body shops do not warrant rust repair unless they remove and weld in sections of metal.
