A day of big transitions

Tomorrow my DH & I leave to attend my DSD's college graduation! OMG - it is a fantastic occasion. Tonight I learned of the death of my eldest daughter's best friend - she died last night - from a very rare and fatal cancer. She was 28. And, my friend with brain cancer is weeks from his own death. Life is quite something today.

Life has become a series of hellos and goodbyes for me too. I feel like that old baby doll whose face could change when you turned her head. I am so happy for some of the wonderful things in my life, but feel profound sadness for what some people I love very much are going through. Life is a journey...full of bumps and turns and magnificent vistas. ! am happy for your joys and grieve for your losses! I'm glad we don't have to go through it all alone!
