Can you help me with Pinterest?

Just having a hard time grasping how to use this. Just watched a tutorial but didn't feel it was helpful? Can anyone give me some direction? Thanks.:)

From my understanding once you are invited in you make your own 'pintrest wall' and on that you pin things you see online. Either from others pintrest wall or things on people's blogs, websites, etc.

I have also heard that there may be some sort of copyright lawsuit peculating due to copyright infringements when someone pins something. I don't have a clue so I just go on there as a voyeur and do not 'belong'

I'll second what Mighty Frugal said.
I do belong. I'm not sure you need an invite anymore though. And some web sites are putting "pin it" buttons on their sites, so you can just click on them and add the photo, and the attribution to the original source comes up automatically. Apparently, there was some issue about people not putting where they found the original images.
You can also add a "pin it" button to your browser's toolbar.
Pinterest is a lot of fun, but like Facebook, it is also a major time suck!
