What a crazy couple of weeks this has been for our household! First we had baby Charlotte, then yesterday my dad graduated from his seminary program and today Zach finished his last final for his last class! He's skipping the graduation ceremony because it was happening the day after Charlotte's due date and he didn't think he'd be able to make it, but we're home free now!

Thanks! I think we are going to go out and celebrate after the kids go to bed, although we'll have to take the baby. Dad said he'd be fine with us going out for a date night tonight. Zach has worked his butt off, especially these last few weeks. It's going to be fun to just relax a bit.

Awesome news-what a sense of relief he must feel. I remember when I graduated college it was such an 'ahhhhhhhh'

Did he study to be an electrician?

Thanks everyone! This has been a really crazy month or so. Yesterday, our first day of freedom, we had all these plans to get stuff done and be productive and mostly ended up taking it easy and resting. It was like the adrenaline we had been running on had worn off and we could finally breathe. :)

Baby Lottie is settling in amazingly well. I'm afraid to even talk about it for fear that I will jinx us, but we seem to be finding our rhythm relatively quickly and all of her brothers and sisters really like her. With school out of the way for both Zach and Dad this weekend is looking to be a nice, relaxing one for all of us. Dad is on silent retreat until Sunday and we are going to go to the farmers market, have some friends over to play cards and putter around the house.
