Apparently, both his parents have kicked him out. This may be his first night on the streets, and as a heroin injector. Please Hold him in the Light. Every day, I pray for him to have enough light to take the next step. Thanks...

"God, or Universe, or whatever higher power: Help me to accept. Rain down your blessings on ____, my _____, and help them to see the futility in their lifestyle. Grant them a little wisdom, and help them see a way out of their problems and addictions.

And let me be not judgemental, let me remember the love, at least, and let me remember every day that it could me making the poor decisions. And let me be thankful for the blessings I enjoy today, and let me try to push those blessings toward those that need the help. I send this prayer up to the Universe in heartfelt gratitude and the wish that You watch over my loved one....."

(My son also recovered, after 10 years of hell. Didn't think it could happen, but it did.)
