I have been adapting to changes in my organization, a lot actually, and I think I win the flexible award. With 2 school years and in my 2nd summer camp I have supervised about 10 schools so far. Typically you have 3 for the school year, maybe one for summer. Now they are interviewing and making decisions for next year. I have a job, no worries about that, and it will be at least the same pay if not slightly more, and I think I am wanted on the 2 major sides of our program. Actually I know that, I talked to the supervisor from the parent tuition side and she really wants me to come there. I have expressed my preference but there has not been a decision, and the likely reason is that they have had me in mind for positions that the applications are still coming in for. I have interviewed in one area where there will be 4 positions possible, but they said I do not have to interview 4 times. Whew, I love doing summer camp but after the water park field trips I fall asleep early.
I just put in my resume and even a cover letter for what I really want, my top choice. Others I have sent my resume however with some life circumstances I did not do my full research and cover letter (see family if you are interested). And now I wait, I am hoping that my summer camp experience with running laptops and a literacy program will help. I kinda feel that I will be on the top of the pile since others with my position last year do not all have college degrees yet.
