Has anyone tried Perkstreet? I found out about it through a blog post on 20somethingfinance. He recommends the card - it's a cashback debit card, and it's all online, plus you get access to tons of ATMs. No minimum deposit, and fees are lowish. Interest is the same as everybody else. You don't actually start getting cash points until you reach a certain amount in your account (I think it's $2,000).
I've been looking for a place to build a little savings fund that's not connected to our checking accounts. The Perkstreet card is technically a checking account (they don't offer a savings account yet), but it seems like it would work for us - we would make automatic deposits a couple of times a month, not withdrawing until we built up that larger balance that would permit us to start getting cash back on debit card transactions. You do have to use it as a "credit" card at checkout.
