About a month ago I was visiting my parents' and realized we had a little room in the garden where some squash plants had croaked.
I went to Menards to return a bag of cement and had a $2.13 in store credit burning a hole in my pocket. I decided to see what kind of veggies they had left in the greenhouse.
This was it:
849
Looks like 3 plants, but is really 6. Cost = $2.14. I plunked down .01 and took my tomatoes back to my parents'.
The next day I plucked the fruit, separated the plants and planted them. Also, I spent $5 on some Miracle Grow for tomatoes/veggies and my dad has been applying it weekly.
Looky here! Just one of the plants!
850
Flowering and fruiting! I can't believe it.
(ETA: Click on photos for bigger images. I tried a new way of doing images and not sure I like it, but it worked!)
