Best Way To Record TV Shows
I used to record on VHS. But I do a lot of dubbing. (I splice programs keeping only parts I like). It is my hobby.
So, I'd record from VHS to VHS dubbing and editing.
Recently, I got a DVD recorder and so I began moving my VHS stuff to DVD.
Now I only record on DVD and then dubb on to DVD.
But DVDs are not holding up. They are malfunctioning on me. They get scratched easy and I have lost 2 DVDs now due to "errors" or whatever. I think I lost two VHS tapes in my whole life due to being eaten up. But just in the last month, I have lost 2 DVDs. THEY SUCK!
So.....where to go from here? What should I used to record stuff from TV?
What should I then use to take those recorded shows and edit them how I want them on to what?
Do I need to go to a computer now?
