Hey, girls! Bunnies and chickies are fine! We've moved and now live in town, a different town, actually, so we are truly urban homesteading. Lots of stuff in walking distance. We have five chickens, our dog, and our four bunnies plus a foster bun. I've finished my Bachelor's in Nursing, working in long-term care but cutting back on hours soon. The heat/drought has not been good for our garden, but we live in a progressive town with an awesome farmer's market and local organic farms. Trying to adjust to downsizing and still trying to get rid of stuff we don't need. Our new goal is to move in about five years to either Maine or Colorado. We love both places, the people, history and nature.

Glad to touch base with every one--I've missed you guys and the good info as well as helping others on their journey.

Would love to hear more about your progressive town and how you've adjusted to town living.

Hey Aspen, welcome back! Congrats on the degree and all your moving around. Would love to compare some urban homesteading notes in the future (we're just getting started setting up our new place now).
