Well, I know I have talked before about my ponds and all the wildlife here. Really it is a Disney life! With the flock of turkeys hanging around the back fen, the heron, kingfishers, deer, raccoon, fox, coyote, skunk, etc...all in my backyard, I expect little bluebirds to land on my shoulder and start singing!
Well, every evening I sit on the dock on the front pond and feed my fish floating pellets. The pond has catfish, bass, crappie, bluegill and 7 koi (just for my pleasure). So, I'm out there feeding and of course the catfish and bluegill and koi come up to eat. Then pop! pop! here are a couple of bass deciding they want some of that! OK, these bass completely lack self respect eating floating fish food but, sure, they are welcome. Then along comes 4 or 5 yurtles, gobbling up the food. (yertles are the friendly slider ones not to be confused with the bad ass snappers in the back fen) OK, sure, why not! Then, along comes....the muskrat! And HE starts munching down the pellets! (he really is cute) So now I guess we will have to name him. My daughter thinks Sam..you know why.
OK, I'm drawing the line if the snakes show up!:0!
