Found this website that once you enter in your town, state and zip code it will show you a list of gas stations in your town and their price of gas. The top of the list being the cheapest on down to the most expensive. Thought some may be interested! :)

I joined Costco primarily for the gas savings. Originally, I had joined for the car-pricing but didn't bother to use that because was able to negotiate a better deal. (BTW--ALWAYS haggle for a new car [and I'm sure used as well.] The deal is MUCH better. No haggle actually means you don't get as good a deal, regardless of what they say. If you research the buying/selling process beforehand you'll learn so much.)

When I got gas the other day it was 30 cents lower than the going rate at all the gas stations. I will more than make up the difference in the price of the membership in the gas savings for the year and Costco is on the way to work. (And I only drive about 10k per year.) So if I buy anything else there (and there blueberries and soymilk are a great deal) I will be ahead. But I'm going to look @ the gasbuddy site anyway...

Thanks for posting this! I checked the gas prices for Cape Cod MA, where I am staying currently; $3.63. Then out of curiosity I checked the prices for my home town of South Bend IN, $3.87! Finally! I have found one thing that is cheaper on the Cape than it is back home....for the time being, anyway.

I noticed that it has to be updated every day by the consumer. Yesterday there were 5-6 gas stations listed for my town, today only one. I will be on the lookout to keep them updated. At least they keep up with it and constantly keep up with the going prices. :)

Yep, I have this app on my phone and it is great! I use it all the time to see where I can buy the cheapest gas along my route. It's definitely saved me a few bucks on a number of occasions!
