Funny Thought about the Curiosity on Mars...........

DH and I were talking about how incredible it is that a group of very smart people could actually put a machine on mars and have it send back pictures. Just mind-boggling. Then we started talking about when the U.S. sent men to the moon. Then I brought up the old movie "Capricorn One", where it had been made to look that astronauts were on Mars, but it was faked. Then we started having fun........imagining that Curiosity started moving on its own, in a direction it wasn't supposed to..........and it transmitted what it saw just over the hill.............The Golden Arches. :laff:
It wouldn't surprise me if the first businesses on Mars weren't McDonalds or Starbucks. :~)

You gotta love a movie with O.J. Simpson as one of the stars! I heard a rumor that Elvis was seen filling Curiosity's tank at 7-11. Seriously, the first business on Mars will probably be a Rite-Aid. Or the Walgreens across the street. It just depends on who builds faster.

My personal view of business (first business), would be a Government Parliament Building, so taxes and levies could be established right from the get-go. Got to pad those pockets...
